Swapping PC components such as Graphics or power supply??

Can i just swap the old ones over with newer ones, or do i have to uninstall the old graphics card via the windows or something, if so how do i do that..

Also, can i just change over power supplys when the PC is off, and set up all the cables and then just turn on the PC again??Swapping PC components such as Graphics or power supply??
As far as just swapping old components, some require you to install new drivers for the new devices. But those will be outlined in the instructions.

You also have to make sure the new card will fit properly in your computer. Newer graphic cards can come in 3 different slot connections; PCI-express, AGP and original PCI.

Make sure you get the right one.

As far as the power supply goes, Yes. That is really all you need to do to replace a power supply.
