My comp screen went black and I believe it is a power failure issue because it only has a 450 watt power supply as well as a dual core processor and a few other components etc. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to reset the motherboard so that it will turn on again. i need some files off of the comp asap though i plan on changing the power supply very soon as well. the motherboard shows it is receiving power but it isnt powering up. any help is appreciated, thank youPower failure on computer.?
get power supply tester. ebay or local comp store, but first I would change monitor, to make sure that monitor is not bad or your video card is not bad
