The 7600GS is 4 generations out of date and it's a low-performance card.

The HD3850 is a gamer-level card and is only 1 generation out-of-date. It will spank the 7600GS in every respect.

You don't need a 600-watt PSU to drive the HD3850. A high-quality 400W unit like the Corsair with 30 amps on its +12V rail is already way more than enough power for the HD3850. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/
