power supply %26amp; SMPS both r same meaning..

turn u r CPU back side remove power cable from it, remove CPU cover, back side u can find 4 screw remove it, take u r SMPS / power supply out side, make sure before that, don't forget to disconnect / remove connection from MB, HDD, FDD, CD - ok.

u can change it or get it repair also as u wish

if ur's pc not starting than remove SMPS from CPU remove all the cable i.e. HDD,FDD.CD-ROM and from motherboard to wires.

take out SMPS U will get 12pin connecter short the green and black
