I have a intel 4 single prossesr ,512 memory, sound blaster live audio card, windows xp pro, 350 watt power supply, gamming case with 2 10%26quot; strobe black lights and 7 blue cold cathode led fans, sony dvd-rw/cr-rw.................. I just need to know if the memory is replaced will it change any settings or saved data or can i add another memory card beside my existing one?How to install memory and is there a specific type or maker you should use?

No, it will not save data, when u Shut Down power your ram will go to 0 State. When powered up the hard drive will load the ram memory with data.
