My computer randomly shuts down?

A few weeks ago I was using my computer as usual. Playing Games, Browsing the internet, Checking the status. But now it randomly shuts down without my consent. This is how it happens.

I start up my computer. It runs fine. I run a few programs like Safari, iTunes. Then I close them and play MapleStory. I play for about 23-30 mintues and then it Shuts down. Now I usually have to wait 15-30 minutues again for it to reboot. But, I don't want this to keep happening.

I've researched and this is what I have done so far.

I've cleaned the fans and most of whats inside of my computer.

I've done a virus scan and its clean.

Also I've cleaned my harddrive, and done a system clean up.

I've had a few things in mind.

Changing the Power Supply Unit. Plugging it in a different Source. Upgrading Ram and Graphics Card. Do a system restore again and never download too many programs.

Oh and Early Thank yous for all the answers. My computer randomly shuts down?
When a computer does something like that your only option is stick it into a workshop and let them bench test it over a couple of days.

It's obvious you have got something starting to fail and it will keep getting worse till it does fail completely. Which means you could be messing around with it for weeks.

At least if it's on a bench test they can find out straight away what it is.My computer randomly shuts down?
this happened to me a little bit after my fan stopped working, we replaced the fan and it seemed to work fine but later the same thing happened my comp just shut down except my computer wouldn't turn back on so i left it for a few hours and it started working again but my best guess is the fan could have stoppedMy computer randomly shuts down?
I've had this happen to me before, and it turns out that I needed a new fan, so try changing the fan, because if your computer keeps turning off continuously then later on it won't let you log on, and all you will get is a blue screen, and you might end up loosing all your data and things, so do it soon!My computer randomly shuts down?
Overheating, have you sited the PC in a hot spot, could you cool it down further by changing the fan.Could it be the motherboard or a faulty cut out mode.?My computer randomly shuts down?

my guess is that your power supply is taking a dump. Sooner or later it will completely stop working then for sure you'll need a new power supply. My computer randomly shuts down?
Google for some fan temperature monitoring software for your particular system then you can rule that out if it doesn't get too high. If not then your next bet is the PSU.My computer randomly shuts down?
could be lacking memory, go to more options tab at disk cleanup . cleanup system restore points..here you will get gigs back, finally run ccleaner

This kept happening to me on a laptop. I was told it was a component on my motherboard and also that my motherboard was dying. I was also told my power supply was on the way out. I opened it up, gave it a good clean out and replaced the heat-sink paste under my processor. This did the trick and it has run perfectly ever since. I use this for game playing only so it works hard. It has not shut down by itself since.
