How to crack the CMOS password?

I Have a desktop with 945 chipset board, P4 2.8Ghz, 256Ram .My system automatically switches on as soon as i switch the main power supply . i heard that changing the CMOS settings gives a solution to this problem.But as i on the system and hit the DEL to enter CMOS SETTINGS i am requested for a password which i dont know.The manufacturer has locked it with the password.Is there any solution to my problem.......How to crack the CMOS password?

Don't Do this if you Don't know what are you Doing



Steps To Clear the CMOS



Read Mother Board Carefully and See The CMOS/BIOS Jumper

if unable to find read the Manual carefully

if No Mother Board Manual

Then Download From Manufacture Site



There will be 3 pins

Which Have setting (By Default) - Don't ulter CMOS settings

Middle Pin is Common one Set to the alternet way



Notice you are in Admin ZONE. Read Manual Carefully if you don't know



Just Start the system and In 60 Sec Switch Off

Basic Thing is supply a pulse



Set the Jumpers at previous place

Your CMOS Setting are At Default Now





Second Method



Remove The CMOS Battery



And Short the + and -ve terminal that Connect to the Battery



Third Mathod

For Smarter Guys

For Those Guys Who Don't know the Basics or Does not Have time.

There is a Utility available known as cmos.exe

Simply Run this and The Work is done.

You Don't need to open the system
